🎨 Unvelling the Canvas

The AR Canvas Vision project was carried out as a part of the Innovation Team within the Camera and Visual Experience CX Department at Samsung R&D Institute India, Bangalore in collaboration with the Visual Intelligence Engineering department, Product Management team and the Experience Planning Group at Samsung Headquearters in South Korea.

The AR Canvas mobile application leverages AI Vision and Persistent Anchor technologies to deliver an engaging location-based AR spatial creation experience enabled through AR creation tools such as 3D brushes, 3D text, gifs, stickers and more. It encourages artistic experimentation  by allowing users to design and anchor space scenes, leave spatial messages and revisit their anchored creations.

The project goal was to employ user research and design-thinking driven insights
in order to devise the Product Strategy and Vision and propose Next-Gen Features
that would make the experience more immersive, enjoyable for the target audience.
